What a great night we had last night!

Thank you to all who attended last night. We had a fantastic time of worship and prayer for the city and for one another. We saw the miraculous healing of one person with back pain, who came to the service unable to bend his back without pain, went home able to bend experiencing no pain. Praise the Lord! There was also a powerful prophetic annointing present. The young men in the meeting were encouraged to prophesy. Every one of them that stepped out, brought powerful prophetic words - some of them for the very first time. Some of the young women also boldly stepped out and prophesied as well.
Significantly, there was a powerful presence of spiritual fathers in the service. Of note, was the presence of Terence Hunter who happened to be in town by what can only be described as a Holy Spirit interaction. Terence contributed to the gathering prophetically - the first time he has ministered in Bendigo for fifteen years.
John and Elizabeth Steele who have ministered in Bendigo now for many years were also present. Both John and Elizabeth ministered during the service, bringing words to and praying for people.
Graeme and Lois Barker were also present by invitation to minister as elders in the body. Both Graeme and Lois ministered prophetically and in intercession for the lives of the city of Bendigo.
I am also very excited to report that we had at least one member of the congregation baptised in the Holy Spirit - in this case as evidenced through speaking in tongues.
Everyone who attended expressed how much the were blessed in the coming together of like minded believers and were looking forward to next time.
We look forward to seeing you again on March 5!

Hey! Don't forget Without Walls gathering tomorrow night!

I have had a few people asking about the practicalities of tomorrow evening. On a logistical front we seem to have the bases covered. But to be honest, this is the first time in a long time I have personally organised a gathering like this, so I am sure that we will be a bit rough and ready. Ha Ha!

We are going to open the building at 4:00pm to start setting things up, so if you want to come and offer a hand, please feel more than welcome to do so! Maybe you just want to come and have some preliminary prayer, please feel even MORE welcome to do so!

We of course want EVERYONE to be open and welcoming towards one another - I don't think there will be any problem there, but if you want to be at the door to welcome people and make sure no-one feels like a stranger - fantastic! Please jump right in!

We have organised some tea and coffee for afterwards, so if you simply want to serve by helping on that front, it would also be greatly appreciated.

I am sure that there will be other things that will need doing also and if I don't get to thank you tomorrow night, let me express now my appreciation for all the help we have received and will receive from all of you.

I am so excited about tomorrow night! Come Holy Spirit!

Whatever transpires tomorrow night, whatever the Holy Spirit chooses to do - I want to thank Jesus. Just talking about what the Lord COULD do, has stirred so much passion and prayer and expectation. Not just in my life, but also in so many others.

I also want to thank you for joining in that passion and prayer, for all of you that are planning to come tomorrow evening, I know that you have an equally strong anticipation. I just want to encourage you to continue to cover tomorrow in prayer. The enemy has had a good dig at me this week, especially today. I am sure I am not the only one who has come under attack. I think it is fair to say that Satan's powers have a sniff of what is up and they are not happy. But praise be to God who is over all and Jesus who purchased for us the victory on Calvary! Tomorrow night we will begin to break something in the spirit over this city of ours,

I also want to thank those of you in The Well in Perth, who have been covering us in prayer leading up to this night - in particular Phil and Jeanette Howells.

Come ready to lose yourself in passionate exuberance before the throne and to experience the glorious manifest presence of the Holy Spirit - our comforter!

 

Sound System is confirmed

I was commenting to someone today that I get a real sense that this gathering is in the purposes of God just by how easily things seem to be falling together. Don't get me wrong, I know circumstances are not the measure of the Gods will, but it has certainly been a blessing to watch the Holy Spirit working things together. Part of that blessing has been the ease of the logistical element of organising this paricular gathering.
And to that end I wish to publicly thank the person who has answered our request for a pa system.
Really all I have done personally to organise this getogether was to name a date. It has been wondetful to see how the Lord has inspired so many of you to rally to the concept of without walls. I am truly thankful the the Holy Spirit has chosen to count me part of it with you.
Lets make sure together that it remains His as it has started.

I know that most of us do things the digital way today, but if you would like a flyer to give to a friend, they will be available from Word Bookstore as of Tuesday. The flyers have all the key information on them and advertise both February 19 and March 5. Feel free to drop in and grab a couple.

Without Walls March Gathering

We have confirmed our gathering date for March which is Saturday, March 5. The gathering will be at the Bendigo Trades Hall again, 34-40 View Street. It is our intention to make the first weekend of each month "Without Walls Weekend". So this March will be the start of the pattern. We look forward to seeing you then.
